I fell in love with cooking at age 14, thanks to my mom, who had a special gift for creating dishes that made us feel spoiled and loved. Growing up in the south of the Netherlands, where French and Belgian influences bring a rich depth to many dishes, I was lucky to be surrounded by amazing flavors and traditions. My mom taught me the basics and inspired me to experiment in the kitchen, filling our home with amazing flavors and memories I still cherish. When I lost her, I found that cooking kept her memory alive, helping me feel close to her again with every dish I make.
Over the years, my passion for cooking grew, taking me beyond my family kitchen to places around the world. I’ve explored the flavors of Italy, Thailand, India, the U.S., Belgium, Spain, Portugal and more. In Thailand and India, I also took cooking classes to dive deeper into the culinary traditions there. Now, when I cook, I bring all these influences together, creating food that reflects my journey.
Through my cooking, I hope to bring a little piece of my journey into your home, sharing the flavors, traditions, and memories that have shaped my love for food.
